It’s been a great football weekend for The Dawgs.
Which makes me think about the unfortunate event of Tom Brady and Gisele’s divorce.
“I think the thing I’ve always felt for me in my life, winning has been a priority.”
- Tom Brady on Jimmy Kimmel Live
The game is more important to Brady than his wife and family.
Unfortunately some women marry partners who might put fame, wealth and the beauty of another woman as a higher goal than pursuing growth, kindness, trust and health (from Adam Grant).
Regardless of where you are in life, choosing growth is key.
As many of you know, I made a major career pivot (transition) 6 1/2 years ago.
During my journey, I stumbled upon a book, Women in Transition by Linda Rossetti, HBS MBA'91
Hearing Linda’s story, helped me take a step in a new direction, a new path to pursue growth.
Recently I reached out to her, and I have organized, through the Harvard Business School Club of Atlanta, for her to speak and conduct a workshop for anyone who wants to grow in a new direction.
Hope you can sign up! It's open to anyone.
You don't have to be a member of HBS Club of Atlanta.

Join the Women's SIG of the HBS Club of Atlanta with guest Linda Rossetti, HBS MBA'91, for an interactive workshop designed for those who are in or considering a transition. We will discuss Linda's research on transitioning and her findings on the key success factors for making meaningful changes in our lives. The workshop will utilize a hands-on learning approach for building the skills to steadily and productively make progress in the face of uncertainty.
Linda's work addresses the needs of those navigating a wide variety of life's most important moments – like a career change, a divorce, an empty nest, a job loss, family friction, sudden changes in our health, or the loss of a loved one. These moments of upheaval will serve as our departure point for the workshop and act as a platform for our discussion on re-examining transition and its role in our personal and professional growth.
This event is open to all. We look forward to welcoming you!
