What I love about Lisa Kudrow’s story is that she created her own part to play—literally.
When she was fired from Frasier and struggling to find work, she could have let rejection define her. Instead, she took a small, overlooked role on Mad About You (which she was given no name) that ultimately led to Friends and one of the most iconic sitcom characters of all time.

Much like any setback in life—whether it’s divorce, a layoff, or an unexpected change—our plans get derailed, our confidence takes a hit, and we wonder
What’s next?
But what if, like Kudrow, you could turn what seems like an ending into a powerful new beginning?
Divorce isn’t just about financial division—it’s an opportunity to redefine your financial future. I’ve worked with countless women who, after years of relying on shared income and assets, suddenly found themselves at a crossroads. The key isn’t to view this moment as a setback—it’s the moment to rebuild wealth with intention and independence.
Growing up in a crappy apartment in Beverly Hills with my single mom, I learned early on that resilience and financial independence are essential—even when life doesn’t go as planned.
Much like Kudrow embracing that small, seemingly insignificant role, women coming out of divorce must embrace new financial opportunities, even if they seem daunting at first. That might mean:
🔹 Reevaluating Investments – Making sure your money is working for you, not just sitting idle.
🔹 Building a Smart Financial Plan – Understanding your long-term needs and setting yourself up for financial security.
🔹 Reframing Your Money Mindset – Viewing your settlement not as a dwindling safety net but as capital to grow and build a thriving future.
Like Kudrow’s role in Mad About You, what seems like a small step today could be the beginning of something much bigger.
Divorce can be a fresh start. A chance to take control, build wealth, and create the life you truly want—on your terms.
The magic happens when you embrace the opportunity in front of you. 💫
Reach out if you are going through a transition.
